As I was reading through the magazine, and more in particular the story about Reiki and Fitness, by Jane Ann Hennessy, it felt like coming home. It really hit me hard.

Jane Ann was talking about her sister and her Reiki journey through chemotherapy, during breast cancer treatment. Ok, I thought, this already is catching my eye.

Reiki was recommended to her through the cancer treatment center. Her sister described the experience as a mega boost to her body, mind and spirit.

She understood she was not alone and that she was receiving spiritual support from the other side. Then tears started rolling down my cheeks, tears of recognition, tears of joy.

I have a similar story to tell you. During my third transthoracic echo (TTE) in Midland, I was approached by two Angels who were telling me not to worry. They talked to me during the eighty pictures the nurse was taking of my heart and said that everything was going to be OK. A great sense of relief was going over me. A great sense of love and compassion as well. I felt so loved and so guided. Some people may think that I just imagined this but I can assure you that I did not. I know that we all are being watched over and guided by Angels, Spirit Guides and bigger forces like the Universe or God. Name it whatever you want but it is foolish to ignore it. It is sad to say that I only began to experience these wonderful things when death was knocking on my door but I have replied and said that I was not ready yet. I still have a ton of work where I am now. A lot of people to inspire and help. So instead, I opened another door, a spiritual door and my path has been amazing so far.

After this appointment, I went for a little walk in the neighborhood around the hospital. I needed to stay close because I had another doctor's appointment after this.

I literally bumped into a woman who was taking the same gym class at EE, in Midland. She had been running and had just finished her run as I had decided to walk a little further. We were both happy to see each other. Especially since we hadn't been able to meet and work out together because of Covid and were very happy to catch up.

Coincidence that we met? Hell no, her words after our lovely chat: this is DIVINE INTERVENTION, and I couldn't agree more.

That whole day was divine and I still think about what happened a lot and a big smile is on my face. Yes, I know. Yes, thank you very much! I will be grateful for the rest of my breathing days...
