I am enough
I am strong enough.
I am pretty enough.
I am kind enough.
I am smart enough.
I am good enough.

Be well
I’m excited to be able to share my practical and general wellness knowledge with you here. I am encouraging you to practice this daily.
During my Reiki sessions, Jo always talked about LOVE and LIGHT. I first did not truly have a connection with these powerful words but as the treatments went on, I started to realize that they are the core to our lives. Little by little, I tried to implement them into my personal life and they persistently grew on me.
Meditation has become part of my daily life. Especially moving meditation.
I love yoga, tai chi and Qigong.
The Livestrong program at the Y changed my life. I got to know wonderful people and felt great exercising again. I felt I had my body back.

You can do a walking meditation where you are really connecting with nature and be fully present in the moment while you walk. Have you tried earthing? The art of walking barefoot.
You can hug a tree. When you do, you connect to it through its energetic vibrations. It releases a hormone called oxytocin – known as the hormone of love, trust.
The ancient Japanese have their practice of Shinrin yoku or forest bathing, and they still practice it today.
Try it! It feels wonderful! When I had anxiety attacks, I ran outside to hug a tree. It felt weird at first but as I was talking to myself about how crazy I must have looked I also felt instant relief.

You can try out the crystal world.
Crystals and stones have always resonated with me. This is a personal choice that you make. I have always believed in their power and feel the vibrations strongly. During my treatments, I was sleeping with clear quartz, healerite and black tourmaline. They were either in my hands when I was too anxious or under my pillow.
Nowadays, I can't sleep without my crystals. I choose them according to my mood and needs. When I fall asleep with them in my hands, I can remember my dreams better. Before, I usually woke up knowing I dreamt well but when I started to think, the images or emotions faded way. Now, it feels amazing to wake up and revive some details of my dream or extend the wonderful feelings I had. Crystals have a way to help me remember. Don't ask me why this is happening, I just know they do. It is such a personal journey so don't be disappointed if this doesn't happen to you. Keep on trying what is working for you.
You can sign up for Qigong classes.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese form of meditation and breathing techniques that are used for martial arts, enlightenment and health. Its roots go back 4000 years and are deeply intertwined with the Chinese way of life.
I find my class to be very unique and authentic because the instructor is a Chinese lady named Hong Shen, who watched her grandfather playing Qigong and Taijiquan.
I love the class because it teaches us to align breath, movement, and awareness for exercise. I feel very much alive and in tone with my body. This is the first time in my life that I learn how I can stimulate my intern organs through massage techniques. I guess we all do this at a certain level but this class teaches me to practice it more on a daily basis.
The techniques are heavily influenced by Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Spiritual Qigong teaches discipline and leads to self-awareness, tranquility, and harmony with nature and self. Spiritual practitioners train their Qi to a much deeper level, working with many internal functions of the body. I guess that is what makes me love it so much more...

Reiki and Qi Gong
Reiki and Qigong are essentially different disciplines, but they have something in common: they are both based on the principle of “Qi.” Qi is the life force, energy flow, or vital force at the core of our wellbeing – mental and physical.
Reiki is a discipline in which practitioners use palm or hands-on healing on patients to reestablish the right balance and allows this energy to flow freely. Instead, Qigong is the practice of balancing and cultivating Qi.
This video explains very well the similarities and differences.

This is my Qi Gong class. (pronounced "chee-gong."
"Qi" is the Chinese word for energy and "Gong" means skill cultivated through consistent practice. Put together, "Qi Gong" means "cultivating your body's internal energy."
In this movement we draw the bow to open spine and heart.
There are four main elements to Qi Gong practice:
Deep breathing, exercises that stretch and strengthen, slow fluid, flowing movements and a meditative state of mind.
As a Reiki Master, I find this to be complementary to my practice, allowing me to focus better on energy and flow.
It allows me to be more centered and balanced.
These movements help improve blood circulation and oxygen throughout the body, which can improve the immune system and help remove toxins.
