I love people. I love working with people and watch them evolve whether it is in a language or in personal growth. One of my strengths is that I try to see the very best in everyone. My goal as a French teacher was always to motivate my students and to create a safe and welcoming environment of trust and respect for everyone.

My rule of thumb has always been to treat people the way you want to be treated.

Throughout my profession as a teacher, I learned to read people effortlessly. I am rarely mistaken. I quickly learned that once a door shut, it's no use to force it back open. It is wasted time and energy.

When you are young, you like to please everyone and you even think that you are able to. The older you get, the less you think this is a wise approach. Some people will never appreciate you no matter what you do. Just focus on those who are willing to listen and let you be exactly the way you are. Cherish the few who will criticize you but in a way that is helping you move forward, get better. The older you get, the more you can appreciate their valuable feedback.

Here are some questions about love and relationships, not only with others but with ourselves. I would love to have this conversation with you some day. Please feel free to reach out to me when you feel the need. I love conversation. I need conversation.

  1. What does the word LOVE mean to you?

  2. How do you practice self-love?

  3. Who do you give your unconditional love to?

  4. Do you give yourself enough credit?

  5. Are you a person with an open heart or do you tend to build high walls around you?

  6. Have people ever told you that you have a big heart?

  7. Have you ever been heart broken? What happened? What has the experience taught you? How will you change things for the better?

As I am writing these questions, I would love to hear from you if you have any questions for me? I am more than willing to answer them. We learn from each other, we grow, we inspire, we are stronger together.

The lesson of the heart is that we must fully love and accept ourselves before we can love and accept others.
